Computing Hub
North Yorkshire, Leeds and Wakefield
The Computing Hub is here to support you with all aspects of delivering excellence in teaching computing, whether you are a centre of excellence interested in the latest pedagogy or just starting out in delivering Computer Science, we have something for you.
We provide support and CPD for both primary and secondary schools across North Yorkshire, Leeds and Wakefield.
We can work with you to identify your computing needs and provide a targeted programme of support to help embed this key subject in your school. This includes high-quality CPD; teaching and learning resources; and school-to-school support.
CPD - fully funded to all state schools
We continue to be committed to ensuring that we deliver the CPD you need in the most efficient manner and supporting your delivery of Computing and Computer Science across all key stages.
We run both face to face and remote courses aimed at subject knowledge enhancement and pedagogy. Please get in touch if bespoke CPD is required.
Computing Support
Teaching staff can work towards a number of certificates to enhance their subject knowledge and can work through the Computing Quality Framework to achieve the Computing Quality Mark.

Loan our Physical Computing Kits
The Computing Hub has been allocated a number of physical computing kits for schools to borrow on a half term basis. Choose from the following:

- Raspberry Pi
- Pico
