Janis Watson

Staff Governor

Janis is a teacher of Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics and has been for 20 years, she has been at Harrogate Grammar School for 13 years. She was a staff governor in her previous school. During her time at HGS she has been heavily involved in the Sixth Form, both as a sixth form tutor and more recently as a Senior Tutor. In this role she has supported the Sixth Form team and the Tutor team, as well as working with students, helping them progress from HGS to future careers and employment. She lives in Harrogate and has twin girls.
