Service

All Year 12 students to complete 30 hours of Service over the course of the year.

This Service involves undertaking a voluntary role either in or out of school. The purpose of Service is to give you a leadership opportunity and responsibility for supporting others, to develop communication skills, to forge a strong sense of community, and to give younger students some visible role models around school.

Some of the opportunities available include:

• Charity champions
• Form reps for Year 7
• KS3 Science classroom assistant
• Learning support helpers
• Library volunteers
• One to one Maths buddy
• Reading mentors
• Subject student ambassadors
• Supporting and mentoring in main school lessons within a chose subject
• Supporting main school extra-curricular clubs and activities
• Sustainability champions
