How To Apply

It only takes a few minutes to check your eligibility, and we will do the rest. Our Free School Meals programme is co-ordinated by the Red Kite Learning Trust but will be administered by HGS. Once your application has been processed, we will notify of your unique application reference number and of the outcome by email.

Your application will be checked automatically on a weekly basis, so if your circumstances change, you may become eligible at any time.

Alternatively, you can apply yourself via this link: Online Free School Meals independent application form. 

By applying using either of the link above there is no requirement to apply via North Yorkshire Council, as this may result in additional referral charges for the school.  

We cater for all dietary needs and are always happy to help. If you have any questions or would like to speak to our catering team, please email kitchen@hgs.rklt.co.uk.

While our kitchen is not completely nut‑free, we use designated areas to prepare nut‑free dishes safely.
