Meals at Harrogate Grammar School

Feeding more than 2,000 students and staff every day is no small task but our Catering Team, led by our Kitchen & Operations Managers, take pride in creating great food that fuels our school community.

We are passionate about fresh, local ingredients. We receive daily deliveries of seasonal meats, vegetables, and fruit from trusted suppliers, allowing us to cook vibrant, flavour‑packed dishes that change with the seasons.

Our goal is simple: delicious, nutritious meals at fair prices. We want every student to enjoy a balanced diet and an exciting range of options, from comforting classics to bold flavours inspired by cuisines from around the world. Student voice matters to us their feedback directly shapes our menus and new dishes.

To make things easy, we operate a cashless fingerprint system, and parents can top up accounts through our online payment platform. 

We cater for all dietary requirements and parents with any concerns or any questions in regards to our catering services are encouraged to contact our chef at kitchen@hgs.rklt.co.uk.

Parents wishing to sample lunch with us should contact chef to arrange.

Our kitchen is not a totally nut free environment however we have designated areas to prep nut free dishes.
