We spoke to staff about Sula's success;
Mr Renton, HGS Head Teacher said:
"We are really proud of Sula's achievement, writing and publishing her first book. This is a tremendous achievement and reflects not only her creativity, but also her exceptional commitment.
Mrs Ellenthorpe, Sula's Year 8 Manager added::
“Sula is an exceptional student who has thrived at HGS. She is involved with a variety of extra-curricular activities and recently competed against Sixth form students in our Battle of the Bands. Her love of writing and reading is reflected in her superb academic performance. We are so proud to have her in our school. So many of our students and staff have already read her book and thoroughly enjoyed it”.
