The ‘Arup Design Programme’ is a creative, engaging, and inspiring work experience programme focused on giving students (years 10-12, ages 14-17) insight into the day-to-day life of engineers, designers and consultants working within the built and natural environment. By the end of your apprenticeship, you’ll be a fully qualified Lift or Escalator Engineer , ready to take the next step within KONE.

What you’ll do

As a KONE Apprentice Engineer, you’ll gain real, practical experience, including:

• Hands-on learning: Shadowing and working alongside experienced engineers on-site
• Maintenance & installation: Supporting the maintenance or installation of lifts or escalators
• Servicing & fault finding: Learning how to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Customer interaction: Working professionally with customers and site contacts

We are looking for an apprentice to join our Water Infrastructure team who design, build and maintain critical water and wastewater assets on behalf of the UK’s water companies.
