What combination of courses will be right for me?
You will select three full subjects at the start of Year 12 along with one of the additional choices.
Selecting the most appropriate courses is one of the most important factors in achieving success at Sixth Form. Some subjects have a traditional exam focus and others are assessed through project-based assessments throughout the course.
You will be advised about choosing combinations of subjects, and those students with particular career aspirations, such as medicine, will be given guidance as to which subjects will be essential for further study.
To maximise both performance and progression, the following should be used to guide your choices:
| Average GCSE grade 6-9 |
Students are free to select any combination of subjects |
| Average GCSE grade 4-5 |
Students should select at least 1 project based qualification to help balance workload |
