Sports Academy programme
The core purpose of the Sports Academy is to provide you with the best possible environment to achieve your sporting ambitions alongside achieving academic excellence.
You will attend a timetabled programme of rugby or netball training sessions during the school day as well as strength and conditioning sessions in the mornings, led by highly experienced sports coaches and teachers.
As well as a detailed training schedule and regular fixtures, you will experience lifestyle lectures from guest speakers on nutrition, mental well-being, recovery and resilience. The Sports Academy has strong links with local and national clubs, Universities and professional academies ensuring that your sporting talent can continue to develop, enabling you to meet your sporting ambitions with help from these centres of excellence.
The Sports Academy runs in conjunction with a full academic programme of study, providing you with a platform to excel both in the classroom and on the pitch.
