Red Kite Learning Trust

Dear Red Kite colleagues,

You are warmly invited to join the Red Kite Foundation Reservoir Walk on Thursday 11th September. Family members and dogs very welcome!

We will be gathering at the Swinsty Moor and Fewston Reservoir car park (LS21 2NP) between 4.30 and 5pm and departing in groups to walk around the Fewston and Swinsty reservoirs with two options…..

The Fewston loop – is a gentle circular walk which is mostly wide and well-surfaced with some short sections of path with fairly steep gradients– 4 miles in length.

The Fewston/Swinsty loop – a slightly longer walk of about 6.5 miles circling these two lovely reservoirs on well-maintained paths. Very suitable for pushchairs, mobility scooters and your loveable canine friends!

After the walk there is an option to drive up to The Sun Inn at Brame Lane, Norwood, HG3 1SZ for drinks and possibly a bite to eat although food would need to be booked in advance (email Steve Howell at howells@rklt.co.uk if you would like to join for food.)

The Red Kite Foundation provides funding to support our disadvantaged Red Kite Learning Trust pupils by giving them access to a wide variety of opportunities. We are delighted that already there are fantastic examples of the Foundation funding in action with great start-up support from our commercial partners at Pagabo.

To contribute to the Red Kite Foundation simply follow this link or the QR code – thank you for your support.

Hoping to see you on Thursday 11th between 4.30 and 5! Please email Steve Howell at howells@rklt.co.uk  if you would like to join.
