Safer transport - Park and Stride - We need your help to keep our students safe!

On Thursday 12 September we are running a Rewards Trip for our Year 8-13 students to Alton Towers. We are providing information about the day and how it affects all students.

We are excited to be proposing an HGS Music Tour to Belgium for students in Years 8-13. There will be three concerts taking place at different venues in Brussels and Bruges.

In order to engage positively with parents over changes to the school and get feedback on key issues we have a Parents' Forum that is held once a term.

As more than one nomination has been received, it is necessary to hold a secret ballot. Each parent/carer of a student on roll is entitled to vote for one candidate.

PE and Sport is extremely important to Harrogate Grammar School. In addition to timetabled lessons the PE faculty organises an extensive range of extra-curricular activities and runs over 25 teams across a wide range of sports.

We are delighted to let you know that Mr Jonathan Godfrey has been elected to the Governing Body of Harrogate Grammar School.

We have had bad weather arrangements in place for many years, for the safety of both students and staff.

We hereby give notice of the AGM of the PTA, to be held on 12th November 2013. The evening will commence at 7pm with the PTA Annual General Meeting, followed by an Ordinary PTA meeting.

This year we are using an option based model to structure home learning tasks for Key Stage 3 students across the three Humanities subjects. This includes Years 7 to 9 for History and Geography and Years 7 to 8 for R.S, as students begin their GCSE course in Year 9.
