As a school we are committed to working in partnership with young people and their families to make Harrogate Grammar School the world class institution we all want it to be. In order to engage positively with parents over changes to the school and get feedback on key issues we have a Parent’s Forum that is held once a term.

As mentioned at the New Intake Evening last July, HGS staff and PTA members would like to invite you to an informal social evening for new Year 7 parents/carers on Thursday 18 September, 7pm to 9pm in the main school hall.
As a school of 1800 students, it is not easy to manage the movement of students in and out of school by a wide variety of transport methods. We asked parents their views about the situation and what could be done. Concerns raised included the speed of traffic near school and the lack of a safe dropping off point.
