This year we are using an option based model to structure home learning tasks for Key Stage 3 students across the three Humanities subjects. This includes Years 7 to 9 for History and Geography and Years 7 to 8 for R.S, as students begin their GCSE course in Year 9.
To enhance the experience our students currently have within the Design Faculty we are endeavouring to forge links with associated professional industries to provide opportunities to see creative design in action in today’s world.
We have introduced a piece of software which allows us to send you reporting information and exam timetables, entries and results electronically.
The PE Faculty and PTA invite Parents/Carers to their 25th Anniversary Burns' Night Supper on Saturday 25 January 2014.
We are delighted to offer the opportunity for students in our current Years 8-12 to participate in a ski trip during February half term 2015. The trip is going to SuperDévoluy, France.
The school will close at 2pm on Friday 20 December 2013. It will be a non-uniform day with students contributing £2 to the school charity.
During 2014 we are hoping to involve all Year 11 students in a work experience placement for two weeks following the GCSE examinations in the summer term.
On Friday 30 August, Ofqual announced that they will "stop speaking and listening assessments from counting towards final grades in GCSE English and English Language" from 2014 onwards.
The GCSE English exams take place in November. We are organising English revision sessions on 28 and 29 October from 9am till 12pm during the half term holiday.
