Prospective students and their parents are warmly invited to visit this ‘outstanding’ school and look round the facilities to aid you in making the crucial decision as to which Secondary school is right for your child.

The evening will begin with a presentation for parents from Richard Sheriff, Headteacher whilst children meet Tim Milburn, Head of Lower School and Primary School Liaison, staff and other year 7 students who will respond to what prospective students want to know about the school.

At 7.00pm, parents and children will be reunited and are welcome to tour the school, talk to staff and students, look at displays and work of various subjects. Refreshments are available throughout the evening in the dining room courtesy of our PTA. The evening is expected to finish by 8.30pm.

Representatives of the North Yorkshire Area Education Office who coordinate admissions on our behalf will be present on both evenings of October 3rd and 4th. We do hope that by inviting you to a Prospective Parents’ Evening we will help you to make an informed decision about the right school to entrust with the secondary education of your child. We look forward to meeting you in October.

We have additional parking available adjacent to the Sixth Form building, behind Footprints nursery. However, to avoid congestion if you are able to walk it would be appreciated.

Please note – please enter the school via the entrance outlined in your letter from your primary school.
