The Yorkshire Ridings Maths Hub, one of the UK’s 35 Maths Hubs, based at Harrogate Grammar School is currently participating in the fifth, prestigious, Maths Teachers’ Exchange with Shanghai schools.
Congratulations to Megan in year 13 who has been awarded a scholarship to the highly prestigious Royal Academy of Music, a truly outstanding achievement.
Congratulations to Achele, a year 13 student who has received an unconditional offer from Harvard, a fantastic achievement. Achele plans to concentrate on Biochemistry before going on to study Medicine at Postgraduate level.
Congratulations to the boys U13 table tennis team who, after tough competition, are through to Regionals, a fantastic achievement and a first for Harrogate Grammar School.
We are delighted to announce that after a rigorous selection process we have appointed our own Mr Neil Renton to be our new Headteacher from September 2019. Mr Renton has demonstrated his abilities over a significant period of time at the school and shown a deep commitment in delivering excellence for all our young people.
The Celebration of Achievement evening at the spectacular Royal Hall was a great success and provided a wonderful opportunity for students to demonstrate their many talents and achievements.

Alumnus and President of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, Amanda Boag, returned to talk to years 11, 12 and 13 students about a career in Veterinary science and the life sciences.
