We are incredibly proud of our students and their achievements, three of which could see The University of Cambridge as their home. This talented group of Sixth Formers have all received offers from the university to study there in September 2018 depending on results.

‘Thank you for the music’ – a huge success

‘Thank you for the music’ was a hugely successful concert, it showcased the talents of students and featured two extremely poignant videos of Dom singing. The evening raised awareness of mental health issues in young people and raised over £4000 for the three charities the Sowa family are championing.

Last year we very sadly lost a member of our Sixth Form community, Dom Sowa. We are holding a concert next Friday, to remember Dom, to remind people that there is help out there and to raise money for the three charities that the Sowa family are championing. Please come along and support the concert on Friday 27th April at 7pm in the Forum.

Cameron has Celebral Palsy but he has never let that define him instead he has set up a football club, Adversity United, for boys and girls aged 6-12 with physical, social, behavioural or cerebral challenges to provide them with the opportunity to achieve their dreams.

We have had reason to celebrate twice in quick succession through outstanding Chinese exam success and Chinese New Year celebrations. Students, parents and staff were treated to a thoroughly spectacular evening of information, entertainment and interaction to celebrate The Year of the Dog.

Huge congratulations to Megan Wilcox (Year 11) who is celebrating a very successful 2017-18, which has culminated in being nominated for the Disability Sport Yorkshire Female Young Achiever of the Year Award, and being awarded Equestrian of the Year by the Special Olympic Group, Able 2 Pontefract.
