Year 9 students set off to the First World War battlefields of France and Belgium to see where thousands of young men fought and died between 1914 and 1918. The visit is always moving and thought – provoking, but had an extra poignancy and relevance in this centenary year.
Primary Celebration Day of Languages had the ‘Tour de Yorkshire’ as its theme this year. Over 100 pupils from Rossett Acre, Forest School, Pannal Primary and Western Primary came to take part in various activities.
