Harrogate Grammar School saw strong results in their A levels today, with a total of 59% of all A level grades being at grades A*-B. This shows a very good performance from a school which prides itself on its inclusiveness and comprehensive intake.
The end of term has almost arrived but the school is a very busy place for students and staff. In the last two weeks a large number of trips and events have been organised, which really enrich the learning experience of the young people involved.
After a rigorous selection process including hustings and group activities, Harrogate Grammar School are delighted to announce the appointment of Ciara Martin as Head Girl and Jamaal Mens as Head Boy for 2014-15.
It was the first trip of this nature organised by the English Faculty for some of the most able GCSE students in English. The purpose of this trip was to give them a first-hand experience of studying at one of the most prestigious higher education institutions.
Harrogate Grammar Students participated in a Big Interview day on Tuesday 15 July. Representatives from IBM gave students the opportunity to practise their formal interview technique with leading professionals.
