Sports day 2021

Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 enjoyed action-packed days as they competed in Sports Day and enjoyed a rewards trip out to Flamingo Land. Students competed in their Ventus, Ignis, Terra and Ignis (VITA) houses with touch rugby, rounders, tennis, dodgeball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, tug of war and track events.

HGS took part in the Harrogate District Walk to School day, led by the charity Zero Carbon Harrogate. Instead of their usual car journey, students either walked, cycled, used public transport, or used the ‘park and stride’ option and walked the last mile to their school.
