We are delighted to have been awarded the prestigious Quality in Careers Standard Award for a second time. The Award is a nationally recognised award and is one of the highest accolades a school can receive for excellence in this area of school life.
Congratulations to Yasmin in year 12, her photograph, entitled ‘escapism’, has been selected out of 22,000 entries to appear in a Show and Tell exhibition. It communicates how young people are feeling in these challenging times.

Congratulations to Tim Milburn, Deputy Headteacher, for achieving his Masters in Leadership of School Mental Health and Wellbeing. HGS has made mental health and wellbeing a whole school focus and this accreditation allows Tim to further his pioneering work.
