Can you help support a child with their online learning?
We’re recycling unwanted laptops and tablets donated by businesses and individuals so that we can reach more children online learning at home during the pandemic. All our schools are working hard to make sure that children can access their learning, but we need more laptops and tablets to be able to reach every child. Your unwanted device could make a massive difference to a child’s learning. If you have an unwanted laptop or tablet that you no longer use, please drop it off at one of our schools in Leeds or Harrogate. We refurbish every machine donated, wiping them clean and re-programming them before they are given free to a child who needs it. Check out our list of schools across Leeds and Harrogate to find out where to drop off your old device – www.rklt.co.uk
It’s cheaper to recycle old devices than buy new ones – as well as being kinder to the environment – but each refurbishment still has a cost to make sure every device is wiped clean and prepared for learning. If you don’t have a laptop or would like to further support our “re-use and recycle for learning” campaign please donate through our JustGiving page. Any amount, large or small, will help us refurbish more laptops to enable more children who need them to learn at home.
