Earlier this month, the Student Leadership Team visited the Houses of Parliament in London. It was a unique experience for the eight Year 13 students, immersing them in our political world.
Earlier this month, the Student Leadership Team visited the Houses of Parliament in London. It was a unique experience for the eight Year 13 students, immersing them in our political world.
The annual BTEC Gig drew a big crowd as Years 12 and 13 showcased their talents live on stage. With a diverse set list of rock, pop and country classics, the night belonged to Year 13 as they gave their final BTEC show, but also included fantastic performances from Year 12.
Year 9 students recently enjoyed an action-packed trip to Bewerley Park, exciting activities included the Leap of Faith, Jacob’s Ladder, a low ropes adventure course, mountain biking and Ghyll scrambling.
Congratulations to Brando Halloum, year 9 student, who has been elected as a member of the National Youth Parliament by over 9,000 young people from across the district.
There was excitement in the air as students took to the stage to perform School of Rock. Talented students from all years made up the cast, crew and band to bring the much-loved musical to life over three sell-out nights.
Two students in our Sixth Form have been selected for the North of England U18 rugby squad. Huge congratulations to year 13 students, Barney Horberry and Fred Yates.
Saturday 2nd April at 7pm. Burns Night at Harrogate Grammar School has been renowned for many many years, it’s hugely popular night that always sells out, come along to see what all the hype is about!
